ISLAMABAD: Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Tuesday congratulated to those political parties who had made their sincere efforts for ending the Pakistan Awami Tehreek sit-in.
The minister also lauded the political parties for their support for the protection of Constitution and democracy.
He said the government would not allow this type of sit-ins in future adding that people are aware about the negative impacts of politics of sit-ins.
The minister said that people learned lesson that there was no any space of such sit-ins in democratic societies.
Replying to a question, he said the government was opposing the PAT sit-in from day one.
He said that sit-ins had badly affected the country’s economy and leadership of PAT and PTI were responsible for it.
