Pakistan an attractive destination for foreign investors: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said the steady appreciation in the Baseline Profitability Index (BPI) strongly signifies Pakistan as an attractive investment proposition.

The Prime Minister expressed these views in a meeting with Akiro Ohno, Chairman Morinaga Milk Industry Company at the PM House here.

Morinaga Milk Co is a leading producer and seller of dairy products in Japan that specializes in milk, dairy-based beverages, yogurt, desserts, condensed milk, powdered milk, butter and cheese etc.

The Prime Minister said his government was making arduous efforts to make Pakistan a highly conducive and attractive destination for foreign investments.

Akiro Ohno appreciated the investment friendly policies of the Pakistan government and expressed his deep interest to expand their investment in the country.
