ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Friday forecast dry weather in most parts of the country during next 24 hours however, light rain-thunderstorm is expected at a few places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, D.G. Khan divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan tonight.
Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country; whereas, a shallow trough of westerly waves is also prevailing over Kashmir and adjoining areas, and likely to move northeastwards during next 12 hours.
During next 48 hours mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.
Rainfall during last 24 hours was recorded as Rawalpindi 27mm, Parachinar 22mm, Malamjabba 15mm, Kotli 15mm, Saidu Sharif 13mm, Islamabad 12mm, Pattan 11mm, Risalpur, Peshawar(A.P), Rawalakot 10mm, Kalam 09mm, Kakul, Peshawar(CITY), Murree 08mm, Balakot, Gari Dupatta, Noorpurthal 06mm, Chirat, Chakwal 05mm, Chitral, Kohat, Mangla 03mm.
