Massive relief needed to rehabilitate flood victims: Mirwaiz

ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, terming the devastation caused by the floods as a big disaster, has urged the people to come forward and pool their resources for the victims.

The APHC Chairman during his visit to different flood-hit areas of Srinagar (Indian occupied Kashmir) including Qamarwari, Armpora and Bilal Colony expressed solidarity with the grief stricken residents, Media reported.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that a comprehensive relief package was needed to rehabilitate lacs of flood victims who were facing immense hardships due to the damages caused by the devastating floods.

Meanwhile, the APHC Chairman paid glowing tributes to noted Sufi saint, Ameer-e-Kabeer Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (RA), on his death anniversary, terming him as a truthful, honest and pious figure, who brought enlightenment to occupied Kashmir.
