Karachi violence claims three lives

KARACHI: As many as three persons have been killed by unknown gunmen in separate incidents across the metropolis on Monday, Aaj News reported.

According to police, two persons were injured when unidentified armed culprits opened fire in Quaidabad area. The injured were shifted to hospital where one succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred when the culprits attempted to rob a passenger bus, police told.

Earlier, a man was killed in Gulistan-e-Johar block 7 area. Police told that 23-year-old Wali Mohammad was a cashier at a petrol pump who was gunned down by unknown assailants who fled successfully from the spot.

Meanwhile, another man was shot dead in Korangi area of Karachi and the body was shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
