IGFC inaugurates ‘Yadgare-e-Shuhada’ at Balahisar

PESHAWAR: To pay homage to the supreme sacrifices rendered by its martyrs (Shuhada), Frontier Corps KP inaugurated ‘Yadgare-e-Shahada’ here on Saturday.

The ceremony was held at Headquarters Frontier Corps KP, Fort Balahisar which was attended by families of the Shuhada, school students, cadets, families of FC officers and jawans, said a press release issued here.

Inspector General Frontier Corps (IGFC) KP, Major General Muhammad Tayyab Azam inaugurated the Shuhada Monument, laid floral wreath and offered Fateha.

A smartly turned out contingent of the Frontier Corps presented Guard of Honor. The students of Scouts Children Academy and cadets of the Frontier Scouts Cadet College Warsak presented the tableau, national songs and speeches.

Speaking on the occasion, IGFC appreciated the sacrifices of Shuhada for the defence of the country.

He also acknowledged the determination displayed by their families and the support rendered by the great Pakistani nation. The Major General Muhammad Tayyab Azam pledged that Frontier Corps KP would continue to defend our beloved motherland at all cost.
