ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department on Thursday predicted mainly hot and dry weather over most parts of the country during next few days.
According to Met Office, a low lies over west Balochistan and adjoining areas. Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.
In Punjab, Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa and Islamabad hot and dry weather is likely during next 24 hours.
While partly cloudy weather is expected with chances of rain-thunderstorm at isolated places in Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 24 hours.
Temperature recorded in last 24 hours included Dalbandin, Shaheed Benazirabad 42’C, Dadu, Sukkur, Nokkundi, Noorpur Thal 41’C, R.Y Khan 40’C, Islamabad 32’C, Lahore 36’C, Karachi 36’C, Peshawar 35’C, Quetta 33’C, Skardu 28’C, Murree 21’C, Muzaffarabad 34’C, Gilgit 33’C, Faisalabad 36’C, Multan 37’C and Hyderabad 39’C.
