Gymnastics: Berki lifts third world pommel horse gold

NANNING: Hungary’s Olympic gold-medallist Krisztian Berki won his third world pommel horse title on Saturday as defending champion Kohei Kameyama failed to reach the final.

The 29-year-old, who triumphed in the event in 2010 and 2011, collected 16.033 points after a routine without major error at the Guangxi Gymnasium in Nanning, China.

Croatian Filip Ude (CRO) finished second with 15.783 and Cyril Tommasone of France was third with 15.600.
