KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain Wednesday urged political leaders, writers and intellectuals to bring the government and protesting parties on the table for holding meaningful dialogue to help end the current political turmoil.
He was talking to members of party’s co-ordination committee in London
and Pakistan and office-bearers of its different departments via telephone, according to a press release issued here.
Hussain said he recognised armed forces’ countless sacrifices for the
country, as soldiers are fighting against terrorists and sacrificing their lives in North Waziristan and they were also helping Internally Displaced Persons and flood victims.
