SWAT: Pakistan Army has setup three-day free eye and health camp at Charbagh, Kashwara and Gulibagh area with specialists doctors from Al-Shifa hospital Islamabad examined the visitors, a release of ISPR said here on Saturday.
According to details, the eye camps was started around 8:00 a.m. in the morning and continue till 5:00 p.m. wherein more than 1730 patients turned up and were examined by the eye specialists present on this occasion.
They were also provided free medicine besides there was a good number of women and children with different eye diseases examined in the eye camp and around 151 patients were referred to Al-Shifa hospital Islamabad for further treatment.
There was tight security in and around the camp setup only to facilitate people belonging for far-flung areas of Swat.
It is worth mentioning here that the Pakistan Army has regularly hold in such camps where free medicine were also provided to the needy people and such camp is one of them which good number of peoples were provided best Medicare facility.
The people and elders of the area appreciated Pakistan Army for extending healthcare facility to the people of far-flung areas.
