Rear Admiral Hussaini assumes responsibility of Commander Karachi

KARACHI: Rear Admiral Syed Arifullah Hussaini has taken over as Commander Karachi from outgoing vice Admiral Khwaja Ghazanfar Hussain in an impressive change of command ceremony held at PNS Bahadur.

Rear Admiral Syed Arifullah Hussaini as Commander Karachi is now in charge of all training units of Pakistan Navy at Karachi, said a press release issued by PN on Thursday.

Rear Admiral Syed Arifullah Hussaini was commissioned in Pakistan Navy in June 1981.

He is a Surface Warfare Specialist and has also undergone various courses abroad including from USA and China.

The Admiral has held various command stints in the field and key appointments at Naval Headquarters.

At the change of command ceremony the newly appointed officer was presented guard of honour and was introduced to the Commanders of the units COMKAR Command.
