LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif Friday said that Pakistan Muslim League-N government was determined to steer the country out of crises and put it on the road to progress and development.
He said that no long march or protest could create hurdles in the way to prosperity, adding the country will achieve its goal and will emerge as a strong economic force.
Talking to a delegation of PML-N Youth Wing in Murree,the CM said that Pakistan was passing through the critical phase of its history and army is fighting against the enemies of peace.
He said that there was need for unity to overcome the problems being faced by the nation and urged that every member of the society should play his role in this regard.
Shahbaz Sharif said that Punjab Government had completed various mega projects costing billion of rupees for providing relief and basic facilities to the masses to raise their living standard.
He said that the process of development that started in the province six years ago would not stop, and Punjab would be made a model province.
He said that record funds of Rs 345 billion had been allocated for development schemes in the province in the current fiscal year.
