PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Leader, Arbab Khizer Hayat has challenged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leadership for an open debate on the performance of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
“Let’s see if there is a courageous PTI leader who accepts my challenge,” remarked the PML-N leader, talking to media here on Thursday.
Khizer Hayat claimed he would prove that PTI provincial government in KPK is doing nothing but indulging in corruption and making fool of the masses. “If I fail to prove this I would quit politics,” he added.
He said Imran Khan who is dreaming to become prime minister can hardly win a councilor’s election in the next elections.Khizer Hayat believed that Imran Khan’s demand for the mid-term elections is unconstitutional and undemocratic.
“PTI leadership should not test the PML-N workers nerves.Otherwise, we would also take it to the streets on Aug 14,” boasted Khizer Hayat.
PML-N leader said neither Nawaz Sharif is going to resign nor elections are going to be held before the scheduled time.
He said in democratic societies important decisions are not made on the roads but in the Parliament.
