Parliamentary Secretary I&B urges PTI to hold dialogue, resolve KPK issues

ISLAMABAD: Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha has said that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf should hold dialogue in a peaceful manner and resolve the problem of Khyber Pakthtunkhawa (KPK) areas.

He said that PTI should focus on the development of KPK, besides taking steps to mitigate the miseries of rain affected people.

He said that heavy rain had played havoc in KPK and affected many people. “It is very unfortunate that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Pervez Khattak is making speeches in the federal capital and the people of his area are suffering from different problems emerged due to heavy rains, ” he stated while talking to Pakistan Television (PTV) channel.

Mohsin Shahnawaz said that Pakistan Tehrik-e- Insaf (PTI), chief Imran Khan should show political maturity and bring the suggestions for electoral reforms.

He said, “We are ready to bring reforms through the forum of parliament.” He said that the government had formulated a committee after the demands of PTI to discuss issues related to the elections. He said that Pakistan had a history of political reconciliation, adding that parliament should be used as platform for reconciliation.

Parliamentary Secretary for Information said that present government had exhibit sincerity, adding that a committee had been established after the demands of PTI to discuss electoral reforms for future.

To a question, he said that the world had recognized the fast improving economy of Pakistan besides other steps taken by the PML-N government.
