ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif telephoned Pakistan People’s party co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari, whereas Asif Ali Zardari telephoned PTI-Chief Imran Khan and Ameer Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq.
Conversation between the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari mostly discussed the current political situation.
While having a conversation with the PTI-Chief Imran Khan, Zardari restated PPP’s endorsement to PTI’s demand for vote recount in four constituencies of Lahore.
Zaradri in his statement said that ‘Democracy will be safeguarded and promoted’, nobody has a right to crash down the current democratic situation of the country.
Zardari furthermore added that the Govt. should stop taking inappropriate steps which could hinder the democratic set up of this country.
