PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan paid visit to Hayatabad Medical Complex here in the wee hours of Friday and enquired after injured persons rains and thunderstorms.
Soon after listening to the havoc of heavy downpours, he went to HMC and injured after each and every injured and desired to provide them best treatment facilities at the expense of public exchequer.
The Governor expressed his deep shock and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the heavy thunderstorm and rains in Peshawar last night and prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls.
Expressing deep sympathies with members of the bereaved families, the Governor said, natural calamities are beyond the reach of human beings.
However, he added, “we fully share the grief of the affected people and assured that every possible step will be taken to minimize their difficulties.
The Governor also prayed for grant of courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss with patience. Meanwhile, the Governor also desired that the PESCO authorities should further expedite its measures for rehabilitation of its damaged infrastructure not only to further avoid its losses but also to facilitate the consumers.
