Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan provided a solution to the current political deadlock going on in the country, while being interviewed by Indian TV.
Imran Khan said that the simple solution to the problem is that PM Nawaz Sharif should resign and elections should take place afresh. He said that Nawaz has to resign or else elections cannot be investigated.
Imran further added that the government will remain where it is now but the PM has to leave. He added that after Afzal Khan’s disclosure, the PM does not deserve to be on his seat even on a moral pretext.
According to PTI chief, Nawaz Sharif can affect or hinder the investigation of rigging. He therefore needs to resign for one month and if rigging is not proved the PM can resume to power.
