CHAKDARA: Former Finance Minister KP and PPP leader Engr. Muhammad Humayun Khan has urged PTI Chief Imran Khan to follow constitutional path for the acceptance of his demands and avoid indulging in politics of confrontation on issues which were clearly defined and explained in the constitution.
Talking to APP, he impressed upon the cricketer turned politician to have some respect for the constitution adding “when you do not accept constitution and law of the land then how you will run the country”. Parliament is there which had representation of all the political entities where Imran Khan can explicitly express his view point on electoral reforms instead of bringing it on roads and streets.
PPP is against political and constitutional instability in the country, he said adding, traders and businessmen were winding up their businesses from KPK due to law and order situation and shifting to other parts of the country.
This is very dangerous trend and it must be discouraged and the ruling party PTI in the province has to play major role in controlling the capital flight.
He said it is time to unite and stand with the Pakistan Army in war against terror as country could not afford any instability at this critical juncture.
The performance of the KP government during last fourteen month was very poor in all respect especially its development strategy failed to click and as such the development funds lapsed in the province.
The KP government, he said was kept busy by Imran Khan on issues other than governance therefore the ruling coalition partners failed to concentrate on addressing core issue of the people.
The PPP leader recalled that his government had handled long march of PML-N and PAT politically and remained successful in their strategy therefore the sitting government should also manipulate in a manner to avoid any mishap.
The former KP Minister argued that employment opportunities ceased when the government halted development activities.
The PTI Government recruited an amry of special assistants, advisors which are illegal.
