He said due to the actions taken by the administration the parking floors in various shopping centres including Hongkong Mall, Dildar Centre,China Centre, Gul Plaza and Rubi Centre have been opened for public while notices have been served to many others for this purpose.

The Commissioner directed the officials of the SBCA to take action against those builders and owners of the building who were found involved in violating the building bylaws and not providing parking facilities.

He said that the DCs concerned should take co-ordinated efforts with the support of other departments concerned to improve traffic flow on the busy roads.

Director, SBCA Shahid Jamiluddin Ahmad Khan told the meeting that there are complaints against some of the builders and owners of the buildings that they have got permission to use the parking floor for other purposes.
