PESHAWAR: Al-Khidmat Foundation (AKF) Wednesday vowed to continue relief activities and assistance for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan Agency till their honourable repatriation to their areas.
The resolve was made in a meeting of Al-Khidmat Foundation, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa held here in Al-Khidmat House, Sikandar Pura with provincial president, Noor-ul-Haq in the chair.
Others who attended were included Mehboob Elahi, Shakir Siddiqui, Shah Hussain Orakzai, Professor Dr. Fakhar-ul-Islam, Malik Pervez Khan, Izzat Khan, Zakir Hussain, Atta-ur-Rehman advocate, Engineer Osman Marwat, Khalid Waqas Chamkani, Mohammad Tahir Khan, Provincial Senior Program Manager, Qazi Wajahat Mehmood and others.
The meeting reviewed the ongoing projects and welfare activities of Al-Khidmat Foundation across the province and besides emergency relief, health, education, reconstruction and Al-Khidmat Orphan Care Program presented reports on ongoing relief activities in North Waziristan, Aghoosh Al-Khidmat Homes, other projects and activities.
Provincial president, Noor-ul-Haq expressed satisfaction over the welfare activities of the organization and said that Al-Khidmat Foundation is carrying day night efforts for provision of relief to destitute persons of the society in eight sectors including health, education, emergency relief and community services.
