KARACHI: State Minister for Communications Abdul Hakeem Baloch has criticised the politics of agitation and sit-ins, saying that it is a conspiracy to disrupt economic progress and flow of foreign investment into the country.
Addressing the oath-taking ceremony of the office-bearers of Water Tankers Ittihad Association, here on Saturday, he said that the government is taking comprehensive measures for the socio-economic development and stability of the country.
He said that new projects will be inaugurated during the visit of China’s President next month. He said that Pak-China Corridor will open new avenues of progress. The minister further said the land for M-9 project has been acquired.
Speaking at another event organised by a Non-Governmental Organisation in connection with Independence Day of Pakistan, here on Saturday, he urged the civil society to join hands with the government for the development and prosperity of the country.
