ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chairman Doctor Allama Tahirul Qadri announced on Wednesday that dialogue and negotiations with the government were invain and that ‘tomorrow (Thursday) will be the day of revolution’,Aaj News reported
According to sources, Qadri said while addressing the participants of the protest that the negotiators could not even meet the two of PAT’s several demands put forward.
He elaborated that these two demands included resignation of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and registration of FIRs against 21 people, including the Prime Minister linked with Model Town tragedy case.
PAT chief clarified that we gave full chance of negotiations to the government but now the doors are closed .
He concluded saying that he would make the last speech of his ongoing sit-in on Thursday evening.“You will have to make a final decision tomorrow,” he told the participants.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar, Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan, Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar and Abdul Qadir Baloch were included in the government panel that met PAT leader.
