The second Ashra of Ramadan refers to the middle ten 10 days i.e. from eleventh to twentieth day of the month. Each Ashra holding its own special significance, the second ashra is dedicated to seek Allah’s forgiveness. This is the right time for “Maghfirah”, for imploring Allah to wipe away our sins as Allah’s mercy is at its peak during this time of the year.
The Prophet is reported to have said: “Do repent in this month to Allah for your sins, and supplicate with raised hands at the time of prayer as these are the best times, during which Allah Al-Mighty looks at his servants with mercy.”
The special dua for forgiveness for this Ashrah is:
“I seek Allah’s forgiveness for all my sins, who is Lord and I ask for repentance.”
Allah Almighty loves us more than seventy mothers and this is an evidence of his love that he repeatedly gives us chance to cleanse our self from the filth of sins and make a new start. So grab this excellent opportunity by reciting the above mentioned dua and other supplications recommended to be recited in this month since they teach us to plead for forgiveness and deliverance from the punishment. Remember the degree of your sincerity will guarantee your forgiveness.
