ISLAMABAD: Chief Coordinator of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Siddiqul Farooq has advised Imran Khan to shun his present ways and utilise energies for Internally Displaced Persons and people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In an interview to APP, Chief Coordinator of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Siddiqul Farooq advised Imran Khan that he should seek unconditional apology from the nation for announcing to hang policemen with his own hands and celebrate `day of independence’ as `day of chaos’.
“Creating chaos on the day of independence is act of enemies of Pakistan whether Imran Khan wants to follow enemies of Pakistan by creating chaos on the Independence Day” Farooq questioned.
Imran khan was against the military operation (Zarb e Azb) in North Waziristan as he was playing a double game for his personal reasons, he added.
He said it was right of the people of KP that he should be present in the camps on Sehari and Iftar and spend his days and nights on the streets and roads and villages to improve performance and start new projects in the province as was done by other provinces.
To a question he said insulting campaign of Imran Khan about election tribunals was baseless as election tribunals decided 301 petitions out of the total 401 by May 31.
Thirty-seven of the 58 petitions filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have been decided and only 21 were remaining while 38 of the 66 petitions of PML-N were decided while 28 were remaining, which meant more petitions of PML-N were still not decided, he added.
Has Imran Khan fulfilled promise of eradicating corruption from KP in 90 days and arrested 100 crocodiles of corruption, he asked. Farooq said Imran Khan levelled allegation of 35 punctures and made claim he has a cassette of an ambassador, now he should let the nation hear this cassette. Now he should tell name of that brigadier as well, he added.
The PML-N leader said fissures have been emerged among PTI members over dictatorial attitude of Imran Khan. He said through various statements of Imran Khan, it has been learnt the PTI leader was not in favour of North Waziristan Operation (Zarb-e-Azb), rather he was against this operation.
Imran Khan wanted to negotiate with the terrorists who killed more than 60,000 innocent Muslims, he added.
Farooq said that Imran was facing failure and decline in KP because the PTI government in the province has filed to fulfill its pre-election commitments including eradicating corruption and restoring law and order.
The PML-N government at central and provincial level, set up metro bus project, education endowment fund, Ashyana Housing scheme, Danish School, Yellow Cab and Green Tractor Schemes, establishment of medical colleges, free provision of 250 medicines at hospitals’ emergency and introduction of 4,000 Information Technology laboratories, Farooq added.
To a question about Zarb e Azb operation Farooq said entire nation and the government stand with Internally Displaced Persons of North Waziristan Agency.
Siddiq ul Farooq said the government was well-aware of IDPs hardships, and is actively working to resolve their issues. He said the government will ensure quick return and rehabilitation of IDPs. He said government was ensuring distribution of financial assistance among the IDPs in a transparent manner. “Pakistan Army is fighting the war for the existence of motherland,”Siddiq ul Farooq added.
