Death Anniversary of Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra observed

ISLAMABAD: Death anniversary of Umul Momineen Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (AS) was observed yesterday with reverence throughout the country.

On this occasion, 37th Annual Umul Momaneen Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra Conference was arranged by Markazi Imam Hussain council, said a press release issued here.

Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Asma Mamdot MNA said that Hazrat Khadija utul Kubra Sacrificed total wealth for preaching Islam appealing the people to follow the teachings of Hazrat Kahadija utul Kubra (AS).

She urged to support armed forces in the Zarb e Azb operation against terror and to sacrifice their wealth for IDPs.

Peter Heyward High Commissioner of Australia said that Hazrat Khadija tul kubra is a symbol of interfaith harmony and a role model for women folk on global level.

Dr. Ghazanfar Mehdi Chairman Markazi Imam Hussain Council said that Arabs were killing their minor girls, Hazrat Khadija (AS) established first ever Dar ul Aman (Safe House) for the girls where food, shelter and education were provided and their lives were saved.

Allama Iftikhar Hussain Naqvi said that Hazrat Khadija (AS) was the first women who embraced Islam. Alama Mohamed Nawaz Irfani Mujtahid Khateeb Markazi Masjid Para Chinar said that all the followers of Hazrat Khadija (AS) in Kurram Agency would provide full support to IDPs.

Naeem Qureshi, Anam Zahra, Muhammad Rafiq Mughals and other paid rich tributes to Hazrat Khadija tul Kubra (AS).

A resolution was unanimously adopted in which they appealed to government to observe birthday of Hazrat Imam Hassan on 15th Ramzan and Martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (AS) for 19th to 21st countrywide.
