BOSTON: Lindalva DaSilva. 35-years-old delivered twin baby boys with 24 days gap at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, whereas the doctors have claimed that the boys are fine and are kept under observation.
According to the reports, Lindalva DaSilva delivered her first boy on February 27, when she was only 24 weeks pregnant. DaSilva was bought at Tufts Hospital in severe labor pain.The doctors tried to make her ease from her contraction, but unfortunately they failed to do so.
DaSilva went into severe labor when she was only 24 weeks pregnant. Dr. Sabrina Craigo, Chief of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Tufts broke a shocking news for her that she has to deliver her baby now, but the conditions were that she has to deliver her one baby now and to keep another baby inside her womb for few more days.
This case would sound absurd, but it happened in real. DaSilva delivered her one son on February 27 and this is how her labor slowed down. Her first son, named Alaxandre was immediately shifted under observation in Intensive Care Unit.
DaSilva was shifted to a hospital room after her first son’s birth and was constantly monitored for her contractions. She was also given antibiotics to manage the pain.
The doctors revealed that Alaxander was doing well. Though he is weak, but his heartbeat is fine and is being observed on constant basis.
Twenty-four days later, Dasilva went into labor again and delivered her second baby boy, named Ronaldo.
This kind of incident is shocking plus surprising enough because it’s a rare case and occurs after decades. The doctors of the associated hospital said that one of their son is born in spring and another in winter. Both of them are in intensive care Unit, under immense observation and both will be able to return back to home on their original due date, June 18.
