Shops, markets, stores, petrol pumps and hotels reopen today

KARACHI: After the announcement made by the MQM leaders to resume the commercial activities from today, all the markets shops, commercial stores, petrol pumps and hotels reopened today on Thursday, Aaj News reported.

All the commercial activities, which were being hindered from past two days in Karachi reopened today after the appeal from MQM Coordination Committee.

Markets, hotels, shops, petrol pumps, commercial stores, offices and banks reopened today in different parts of the city, whereas the Local Transporters have also decided to bring their vehicles on roads for the ease of the public.

It is pertinent to know that after MQM Chief Altaf Hussain’s arrest in London, the party members gathered at Numaish Chowrangi to record a peaceful protest to support Altaf Hussain against all the allegation charged on him.

The party members after attending the live address of Altaf Hussain, announced to resume all the commercial activities in the city, whereas they also decided to continue the protest till the allegations are not removed from him and requested their party workers to manage to take out some time from their work to attend the protest and support their Chief Altaf Hussain.
