QUETTA: Several people fainted in scorching heat in different parts of Balochistan on Monday.
Reports reaching here said that maximum temperature of 48 degree Centigrade was recorded in Sibi and Dalbandin.
A number of people were reported to be fainted in scorching heat wave engulfed different parts of the province, especially, Sibi, Jaffarabad, Nasirabad, Bolan, Jhal Magsi, Kharan, Awaran, Turbat, Gwadar, Panjgur, Khuzdar and others.
Hospital sources said that the patients fainted in heat wave were brought to hospitals and treated.
The Met Office said that dry and very hot weather would continue prevail in eastern and central Balochistan for next few days.
The provincial capital Quetta and parts of northern Balochistan also experienced very hot weather where maximum temperature was recorded at 38 Centigrade.
The hours-long daily power load shedding also increased the woes of masses in very hot weather.
