Security fears: Flights suspended at Peshawar airport

PESHAWAR: Just because of security fears, Qatar Airways has followed suit after Emirates Airlines decision to suspend its flight operations to and from Bacha Khan Airport, Peshawar, Aaj News reported.

According to the reports, almost all national and international airlines suspended operations at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport owing to security concerns.

Following the incident of fire attack on Pakistan International Airline’s (PIA) flight, the international airlines began suspending their operations  over here.

In that incident, a woman passenger was killed while 2 flight steward and one other sustained injuries in the unprecedented attack on an airborne passenger plane.
