Punjab: Three times increase in urban sector budget

LAHORE: Punjab government has increased three times more funds as compared to the last year for the urban development sector in the provincial budget 2014-15.

According to the budget documents, in 2010-11 Punjab government had allocated Rs 9,160 million for urban sector development, Rs 8,500 mln in 2011-12, Rs 5,360 mln in 2012-13,
Rs 13,822 mln in 2013-14 and Rs 40,400 million in 2014-15 that  is 300 percent higher than the previous budget.
