LAHORE: At least 117 people have been diagnosed with Gastric disease within 24 hours in Punjab, whereas the doctors have claimed that the disease is on it’s increasing pace, Aaj News reported.
According to the reports, Punjab has been in the hit-list in regard to the spread of Gastric disease among people, whereas within 24 hours 117 people have been diagnosed with this disease.
Meanwhile, all the Govt. hospitals have been alerted regarding the spread of this disease, whereas medical aid has been made available for the patients admitted in the Govt. hospitals.
The reports further revealed the most affected areas which included Hafizabad, Muzaffargarh, Nankana Sahib, Chakwal and Okara.
On the other hand, doctors have requested the citizens of Punjab to use clean water for drinking purpose and to abandon the packet and bare foods and goods purchased from the market, as from this the Gastric disease can be controlled.
