Over 200 suspects held in firing on PIA plane

PESHAWAR: As a result of the search operation conducted in Budh Ber amid investigations into the incident of firing on a plane, more than 200 suspects were rounded up in Peshawar on Tuesday night, Aaj News reported.

Reports claimed that not even the passenger planes are safe anymore in Peshawar.

According to the reports, more than twelve bullets hit the plane, when a flight of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) came under fire attack by the terrorists in Mashokehl in the outskirts of Peshawar.

Following the incident, a joint search operation in Mashokhel and Salman Khel areas has been launched by the police and security forces. They have taken over 200 suspects into custody reportedly.
