ISLAMABAD: People belonging to all walks of life have welcomed federal budget 2014-15 and hoped it will go long way in redressing difficulties of people.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal said huge amount has been allocated for human resource development to achieve targets in all sectors.
Appreciating the budget, Federal Ministers Barjees Tahir, Khurram Dastgir and State Minister Balighur Rehman have hoped that the new budget will go a long way in redressing the difficulties of the people.
Chairperson of Prime Minister Youth Programme, Maryam Nawaz described allocation for Prime Minister’s national insurance scheme as a revolutionary step in the health sector.
Parveen Masood Bhatti, Member Standing Committee for Information said the budget reflects government’s desire for women economic uplift.
Advisor to Prime Minister Engineer Amir Muqam said special attention has been paid to the agriculture in the budget.
Daud Usman of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) said the new budget will prove helpful in promotingtrade and industry activities.
Aamir Yousuf, President Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coordinator to Chief Minister Multan City Farooq Bhatti and Irfan Qasir Sheikh, Former President of Lahore Chamber have also hailed the budget.
