Model town tragedy: Imran demands resign from Shahbaz, Sanaullah

LAHORE: The chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has demanded resignation from Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah over Model Town tragedy, Aaj News reported.

While talking to the media, Imran Khan said on Wednesday that Rana Sanaullah should be put behind the bars over the incident. Police have violated the decision of Lahore High Court (LHC), PTI Chief said.

He questioned“Was it a castle of terrorists where police arrived at 1:30AM at night?”

Imran further said that alomost 11 people were killed and more than 80 injured in the Model town tragedy.  Such kind of incidents could not occur even during the dictatorship tenure, he added.
