Karachi violence claims six lives

KARACHI: In separate incidents of violence in Karachi, at least six people including a doctor and two policemen lost their lives, Aaj News reported on Saturday.

According to the reports, a medical practitioner was shot dead inside his clinic by unknown armed men in Gulbahar. Later, he was identified as Dr Syed Sharafat Ali.

On the other hand, a policeman was shot dead by unidentified armed men near Sakhi Hassan in North Nazimabad.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, another policeman was killed near 2-minute chowrangi in North Karachi.

Muhammad Asif 32, son of Abdul Latif was killed by unidentified armed men in Kharadar.

As a result of the firing near Katti Pahari area, a man was killed. In Orangi Town No.6, unidentified gunmen shot dead a person.

Meanwhile, during encounter at Kunwari colony, a terrorist of Tehreek-e-Taliban was killed.  The accused was involved in the killing of 23 FC men, officials said.
