Karachi: Rising violence kills three persons

KARACHI: At least three people were reported to be killed during the rising violence in Karachi, whereas one militant associated from a banned outfit was killed during the police and Rangers raid, Aaj News reported.

According to the reports, amid of high alert security, terrorist activities are on its peak. Two police officials were reported to be killed during a firing incident which took place at M.A. Jinnah Road, whereas two others were injured in the firing incident which took place in Usmanabad area. The injured were immediately shifted to the nearest hospital for medical treatment, but unfortunately one person succumbed to his injuries on his way to the hospital.

On the other hand, police and Rangers are continuously conducting raids in different area to cuff the militants and terrorist who are violating the city by bloodshed. Likewise, the Rangers and police officials raided Industrial area and Muhammad Colony, where exchange of fire took place between the militants associated from TTP and the security officials. Eventually, the security officials gunned down one militant, whereas two other managed their escape from the scene.

The security officials later revealed the identification of the militant who was killed during the exchange of fire as Imran Umar Arf Qari. The police sources revealed that culprits were involved in various bomb blast attacks, whereas they were also involved in more than 20 target killing cases.
