SARGODHA: Various segments of the society including business community, industrial organizations and parliamentarians have welcomed the federal budget 2014-15 and termed it balance and best in the prevailing economic condidtion.
Talking to APP here Wednesday president Anjuman Tajran Khawaja Ahmad Hanif, secretary general Naeem Aslam Kapoor and others welcomed the budget and termed it a people friendly. They also termed it the outcome of good economic policies of the incumbent government.
MPAs, Dr Nadia Aziz, Abdul Razzaq Dhaloon and Rana Munawwar Ghous also lauded the allocation of Rs 26.80, Rs 64 Billion and Rs 20 billion for Health, Education and HEC respectively showed that the government was very much serious for the promotion of education and providing health services to the people.
They appreciated the allocation of Rs 118 billion for Benazir Income Support Programme and to increase the financial assistance amount from Rs 1000 to Rs 1500 per month for the poor.
They also lauded the Prime Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme and the allocation of Rs 01 billion in this regard.
