Balochistan Airports’ security beefed up

QUETTA: Following the deadly attack on Karachi International Airport, the security of all Airports in Balochistan has been increased on Monday.

“Security plan of the Quetta Airport has been revised with additional deployment of the ASF personnels,” Quetta Airport official told APP. He noted that all vehicles and pedestrians entering in the premises of the Quetta international Airport was allowed to entered after checking.

“The flights to and from Karachi are suspended while flight operation to other cities was continued as per scheduled,” he added.

Reports reaching here also suggested that additional security measures were put in place at and around Gwadar, Turbat and Zhob Airports to avoid untoward incident.
