Altaf makes phone call to Musharraf, Ashrafi

LONDON: The chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain made a telephonic contact with former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf and Pakistan Ulema Council head Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi, Aaj News reported.

During conversation with Musharraf, Altaf Hussain congratulated the former president over court verdict to remove his name from Exit Control List (ECL). He also prayed for the good health of Musharraf’s mother.

Musharraf also thanked MQM chief for raising voice for him.

Meanwhile, Altaf during telephonic talk with Tahir Ashrafi said that there are some matter of concerns in country including terrorist attack at Karachi airport and sensitive military installations.
