36 outlaws arrested; wine, hashish and weapons recovered

ISLAMABAD: Police have nabbed 36 outlaws besides recovering weapons, hashish and wine from accused, a police spokesman said on Saturday.

According to details, Bani Gala police arrested two bootleggers accused Qaisar Mehmood,Bilal and recovered nine cans of beer and wine bottle from their possession.

Shahzad Town police arrested accused Jan Muhammad and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him while Ramana police arrested 13 accused persons for their alleged involvement in immoral activities during raid at Mirabadia.

Bhara Kau police arrested accused Qaisar Mehmud and Isrhat Mehmud involved in murder case and recovered murder weapon (30 bore pistol) from them.

Sabzi Mandi police nabbed 12 persons in violation of section 144. Ramana police arrested accused Zain Noorani for having four wine bottles while accused Zahid Mehmud was apprehended for giving his house on rent to a proclaimed offender.

Nilore police arrested two thieves accused Badshah Khan and Riaz Khan while two proclaimed offenders were also arrested during efforts to nab criminals at large.

During checking in various areas of the city, 70 motorbikes and four vehicles were impounded for being driven without authentic documents.
