Witness identifies Salman Khan as the SUV driver

MUMBAI: One out of two witnesses, identified Salman Khan as the SUV driver, who drove his car over five men sleeping on the pavement in suburban Bandra, due to which one person died at the spot, while four others sustained injuries.

According to the Indian reports, one accused identified Salman Khan, who on September, 28, 2002 drove his SUV car over five men, who resided on the pavement at Bandra.

The witness claimed that, Salman Khan, after the incident came out of his car from the driving seat door and managed to escape from the scene.

It is pertinent to know that Salman Khan is charged as an accused in the hit-and-run case of 2002, whereas Salman Khan could face up to 10 years of jail, if the claim turns out to be true.
