Senator Nasreen Jalil requests PM Nawaz to unblock YouTube

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader and Senator Nasreen Jalil has requested the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif to unblock YouTube.

According to the sources, Nasreen Jalil wrote a letter to the PM, in which she requested him to unblock YouTube, whereas she also asked him to solve this issue as a prioritize matter.

Nasreen Jalil further wrote in the letter that the nation in which we live now is dependent upon 3G and 4G technology, but the most used video sharing website ‘YouTube has been blocked for the users.

She also mentioned that Lahore High-Court has even ordered to re-open YouTube, whereas Human Rights Committees have also accepted the clause to re-open this website, than why this video sharing website is still unable to be accessed without proxy setting.
