KARACHI: Former Interior Minister and president of PPP Overseas Wing Rehman Malik stressed the need of good relations between Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Pakistan Peoples Party.
Rehman Malik said this during a telephonic conversation with MQM chief Altaf Hussain, said a statement issued by MQM here on Monday.
He said that the reported murder of MQM workers has deeply saddened him.
Rehman Malik assured Altaf Hussain that Sindh government would leave no stone unturned for the arrest of killers.
He told Altaf Hussain that the Sindh government had formed a special team for the investigation into the reported murder and efforts were being made to recover workers.
He said that Rangers and other law enforcement agencies are also investigating into the alleged murder besides the Sindh government. Rehman Malik also informed Altaf Hussain about the recent political situation. Pakistan was facing internal and external
challenges, he added.
