Rangers advise citizens to avoid roaming in SUVs after 7pm

KARACHI: Director General (DG), Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, Major General Rizwan Akhtar has taken serious notice of the double cabin vehicles with armed persons brandishing weapons in civvies, such vehicles are found on the streets of Karachi, harassing common citizens.

It is advised to all such individuals roaming in Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) and brandishing weapons that a deadline has been set and after 7pm, today (Tuesday), a crackdown will start, said a statement issued by the PRO to DG Rangers, on Tuesday.

He said that citizens should avoid any such activity to avoid undesired situation, otherwise law will take its course against violators.
