PM’s India visit to promote bilateral understanding: Farooq

ISLAMABAD: Senior PML-N leader Siddiq-ul Farooq has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s decision to attend the swearing-in of Indian Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi will promote understanding between the two countries.

Talking to Radio Pakistan he said Pakistan wants settlement of all outstanding disputes including Kashmir, through dialogue with India.

Commenting on the Prime Minister’s visit to India, defense analyst Hassan Askari Rizvi said it is a positive step and hoped composite dialogue between the two countries will resume soon.

He said Narendra Modi has invited leaders of SAARC member countries and other nations to his swearing-in ceremony to improve his image at international level.
