PML-N’s Arbab challenges Imran for public debate over performance of KP govt

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) PML-N senior leader Arbab Khizer Hayat Khan has challenged Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, Imran Khan for a public debate on the performance of his party government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

“I will quit politics forever if I failed to prove that PTI government in KP is an inefficient, corrupt and failed,” claimed Arbab in a statement issued here on Friday.

He further claimed that days of the PTI government in KP have been numbered. “It is a matter of days that Chief Minister Parvez Khattak government would be gone,” PML-N leader added, further saying that its own Ministers, Advisers and MPAs are busy in internal wrangling and this situation may lead to fall of the “corrupt government” any moment.

Arbab Khizer believed, “Imran Khan’s protest against election rigging is in fact an attempt to hide weaknesses and failures of PTI government in KP.”

He said that Potwaris and Police are still ruling the KP, where Ministers are getting bribes for transfers and postings of government servants. He added blue eyed officers in the Provincial Bureaucracy are being favoured in KP.

Arbab Khizer claimed to possess credible proof of massive rigging in KP in the 2013 general elections. He said almost all MPAs of the PTI made it to the KP assembly through rigged elections.

“He is not sincere with the people of Pakistan nor with KPK,” claimed the Arbab from Peshawar.

“But the people of Pakistan shattered his dreams to the ground and now is frustrated and disappointed” said Arbab Khizer, who believed that his protest against rigging will fetch no good to Imran Khan except sheer embarrassment.

He claimed that Nawaz Sharif government was strong like a rock and would complete its constitutional tenure.

While concluding, Arbab reiterated his challenge to Imran for a public dialogue about the performance of PTI government in KP.
