PIA plane gets away with a trenchant disaster


LAHORE: A Pakistani International Airline (PIA) flight, PK-721, got away with a trenchant disaster on Tuesday morning, when the engine of the aircraft was hit by a bird.

According to the reports, flight PK-721 en routed from Karachi to Lahore, at the time of landing was hit by a bird on the side of the engine at Allama Iqbal Airport in Lahore.

However, the pilot of the flight PK-721 managed to land the plane safely, whereas the officials at the airport said that the runway will now be strictly monitored to avoid to such mishaps.
