Nisar allows PTI to stage rally in Islamabad with certain conditions

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) has been given permission to stage a protest rally in Islamabad against alleged rigging in May 11, 2013 polls, but in the presence of the conditions, Aaj News reported on Friday.

Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar announced during a press conference, “An official approval will reach the PTI administration later this evening, however they will have to abide by the conditions we have laid down”

During the press talk, Chaudhry Nisar cast a host of concerns about the potential risks of holding massive rallies around sensitive locations.

He said the government allowed the meeting as Chairman PTI, Imran Khan was bent on putting up a ‘show of strength’, adding he was satisfied so far that PTI would protest as a mature political party.
