Mansehra gang-rape case: Culprits held for 10-days remand

MANSEHRA: Three culprits of Mansehra gang-rape case, who assaulted an Intermediate class student were held in for 10-days remand, Aaj News reported.

According to the sources, the three accused of Mansehra gang-rape case were presented in the Anti-Terrorism Court in Abbottabad, where the police officials, who are the in-charge of this case claimed that the investigation regarding the case is underway and they want some more time to investigate this case properly, on which the court handed over the three culprits to the police officials for 10-days remand.

Earlier, the police arrested the three accused, named Qari Naseer, Faizan and Hussain, who were involved in Manshera gang-rape case, whereas after their arrest, they were sent for physical remand.

A day to day report regarding the case was also given to Judicial Magistrate after the first physical remand of the accused was termed.

The report submitted to the Judicial Magistrate mentioned that an Intermediate class student was forcefully gang-raped inside a speedy car, whereas the victim was trapped by her own classmate, who promised her to drop her home safely. Meanwhile, the three accused arrested on the particular charge have accepted the claims of raping the student.
