Kashmiris to continue struggle till success: Shabbir

ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Hurriyet Conference, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, has said that Kashmiri people will continue their struggle till they achieve their inalienable right to self-determination.

According to KMS, Shah said that the UN had acknowledged the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir and Kashmiris’ right to self-determination in its several resolutions.

He termed as childish the debates on Article 370, which gives special status to occupied Kashmir. “Some pro-India people are talking about safeguarding the Article 370 while some are hell bent upon its abrogation. But the reality is that both parties are trying to divert the attention of world bodies from the core issue – the Kashmir dispute,” he said.

Shabbir Shah also strongly condemned the shifting of Hurriyet activist, Peer Inayat Ullah, from police station to sub-jail Kupwara and Muzaffar Ahmad from Srinagar Central jail to New Delhi’s Tihar Jail.
